I had a womens study class that I took in the fall of '11 and failed, that I needed to take again in order to graduate on time. I was rely nervouse about taking it again. I didn't want to fail again. So this time I read the required readings more in depth, and participated in class more, and tried a Shit-Ton harder on the essays and tests. When I went in for the "final paper conference" my teacher and I thought I would get no higher then a D, but I didn't want to take this class again because of the "3-peat" rule. So I tried even harder o. The final paper and quiz and received a C!!! No one in the world would care if it is a 79 or a 70. A C is a C. :) I felt accomplished!
In other news because of the car crash that happened, I missed a test in my online class and my teacher wouldn't let me make it up. All my friends told me to go to the head of the department (well, it's the teacher that is teaching my online class.... So im screwed there). But she had no sympathy, and told my try harder on the 4th test. I'd had to make a 115/100 in order to get a D, because we only have 4 grades in the class (being the 4 tests) lame. So now in going to fail this class just meaning I'm going to need to take it in the fall And pass everything in order to graduate.
So close, so Many obstacles!

Random things
So I saw the snake when y mom and I were coming back from SupaWifes house. I was cat sitting while she was in Porto Rico.
The box of things were free sample backs of pads and tampons that my school was giving out as some promotional thing. So in the course of a week I managed to grab about 30 boxes. I know I'm lame, but shit pads and tampons are expensive! And it isn't stealing cuz they were free for the takin. I even waited until the last day of school to take most of them cuz they were getting rid of them anyway.
Well THAT box. I took and and when I got home realized that they were all empty containers. Hahahaha. I guess that's what I get for being greedy.... I get to take out the schools trash. At least I know they were recycled boxes cuz that's where I put them.
The kitty cat. War is so cute, well any cat is, when he sleeps in bags or boxes with his paws curled up. I had to miss with him though.
And we planted these plants in early April and something is eating them. I'm not sure what but its only attacking the leaves on these plants and not the bushes or other flowers. .... Hum?

A couple weeks ago, SkittleHair, the not newly named yet SupaWife, and i never named her -so Lanky? All went and got our nails done. We all got pedicures and manicures as a "yea us for passing the semester!!!! And surviving!"
So the pictures are of my figure nails before and after the mani. And SupaWife has her hand in one picture and her foot in the other. My nails are all orange -ish... And hers are fully painted redish and blue. :)

Congratulations San Antonio for breaking the Guinness World Record for the Largest Charity Walk!!! www.anybabycansa.org
So i went to this Walk with my dad, mom, sister, and brother. For those of you that read and don't know my Brother is a "Functioning Autistic," which basically means he has some developmental delays but for the most part should be able to hold a job, can eat by himself, clean and dress himself, can memorize everything (oh wait, thats not normal, that his autistic thing) and he also has the reading level of about 5/6th grade.
We did this walk just for the hell of it. while where at an hour that No Human should ever be awake at, they had a silent auction going on. The action piece were puzzle pieces (the symbol for autism awareness) that were made mostly by people with some degree of autism (or people that have autism in the family like tony hawk).
One of these pieces was realllllly awesome looking, so i bid on it. and WON!
The person who made it wanted R. L. Stine to sign it before s/he painted it, and R. L. Stine did! And a book to be given away with it!!
i thought it was the most bad ass one there! (if it wasn't i would have bid on another...) i won it for $65. Fortunately for me the ended the action early because it was starting to rain and the auctioneers didn't want the pieces to get rain damaged.
my sister bid on a piece that would have been nice if she won, but she was out-bid by 5 bucks.

my finals
My finals went well. I passed all but one, nd the one i failed i still passed the class.
Linguistics - (this was a normal M/W class) i passed both my final paper, and final test.
The professor told us that our test was going to be 5 short answer questions (and her short answers are a page and a half each) all about the 'red book'. with this info I'm freaking out. i didn't really understand most of the things the 'red book' was talking about so i was going over ALL the notes about the book and skimming the chapters. i was walking into the final knowing i was going to fail, so the night before i just prepared myself to fail. the professor was 13 minutes late, which was alright. when she walked in she had one sheet of paper (for each student- our test) and it is filled from top to bottom with question. a sea of blocked question (which means many parts to each question). when she hands them out i start reading the question, OMG, none of these questions have anything to do with the 'red book'! "BAM! i'mma pass this" i thought.
Finished the test in an hour, first one done. I DID! -- I got an A for this class.
Colonial and 19th Century American Literature - (this was a hybrid of W and online) SkittleHair and I took this class together. She has the wonderful ability of putting aside her own opinions and just telling the professor what they told us in her essays, taking on the opinion on the professor. I cant do this for some reason. In this class we had 4 essays. on the first essay i got an 87, and then and 65, then 56. when we got the the final i was thinking there was no way i was going to pass the class unless i got an 86 on the final. I didn't. either i really did write an awful paper, or our professor really hated my paper. i got a 65 on the final. i thought i was doom! (so she really thought i had awesome things to say in class and on the discussion board, or she didn't want me to retake her class...) either way i ended up with an 82 in the class, leaving with a C. One more class with This Professor in the summer and I'm done with that section of the degree plan.
Do you remember my British Literature class? - (this was an online class) SkittleHair was taking this class with me as well, but she dropped after the first essay because she did bad. :( I thought about dropping this class, but i wanted to vomit at the thought of it. Ive never dropped a class before. I Figure I've already spent the money, im not getting it back... even if i fail this class i should stick with it so i know what to expect next time i take it.
I Highly Dislike this teacher. I Will Never Take Another Class With Her Again! I gave her a bad review, and will be talking to the head of the English department about her. We had 6 papers in this class. i got a 50, 60, 60, 87, 76, 83 on them. (the 83 being the final) she also must have liked what i said in the discussions boards because i passed this class with a B. I still don't like her, and don't have to take anymore classes in the section of the degree plan.
Introduction to Learning Psychology - (normal M/W class) Our final was a 30 question test, consisting of 6 questions from our previous 4 tests, and 6 new ones over the last section. I was taking this class with a Psych friend (which i don't have a nickname for) and she wasnt doing the best in it because she thought it was going to be easy and started blowing it off from the beginning to focus on a harder PsychStats class. So to help her and myself we made flash cards of every question on every test and the new possible questions and studied them. We made these flash cards the night before the test... and studied then until 2 AM. Fortunately our final was at 4 pm the next night. so when we got up in the afternoon, we went to the school and studied for a couple more hours. All the time used studying paid off BIG time! we both got 100's on our finals which secured my A, and helped her get a High B.
I think from now on I will be saying that I'm a Psych major with an English minor, even though I'm double majoring, because I've never gotten anything lower then an A in my Psych classes, and get more B's in my English.
Spanish 2- this class was lame. the teacher wasn't very helpful, and i b.s'ed my way through this class (Sorry dad, it wasn't that important to me- I just needed to pass). Which I did pass. I got a C. Good enough for me. I don't need any more Foreign Language classes. (I will however be pissed if A&M makes me take another one because i only took 3 language classes to get the 12 hours, and not 4.
For this summer, I am currently signed up for 4 classes, but as soon as i get my fall figured out and finalized, i should only have 3 summer classes, and 4 fall classes. and then i'll be done! :) !!!!!!!

Finals
Finals are coming up next week. I'm excited but at the same time, not so much.
3 essays and three tests. I only have 5 classes ...
My linguistic class is requiring a final essay and we are doing a final test.
My colonial class has an essay.
My Psyc class is a final test which imma do awesome on!!
My Brit class is a final essay and 14 blackboard posts.
And my Spanish class has a final test.
SkittleHair went to Vegas this past weekend and brought back a DVD for me. I'm so excited to watch it.
This weekend I'm going out with the family to a movie marathon for a collection of Marvel movies (iron man 1&2, hulk, Thor and captain America leading up the the midnight showing of the avengers. I'm excited!
Other than that I still have to decided what I want to do for summer. :(

pictures and story of the yard
these are the concrete guys, fixing up the rest of the concrete. we extended the driveway and put up a retaining wall.
my brother got so excited about the new concrete that he walked on it before it was set. so we ended up with a footprint.. my sister fixed it best she could.
i asked my dad if we could put our names in the concrete... he called me 12, then said i could. You cant see them very well, without shade, so we decided to paint them in so the names stand out. but they arent all painted yet, so i havent taken another picture yet. My sister did the names of hers and my parents, and i wanted to do my own, and fucked it up bad. so mine looks really bad compared to the others. :( oh well.
later that day, we saw a katy did walking up the side of our house, got nearly to the top, took a rest, and i think fell asleep. about 4 minutes after it stopped to rest it fell all the way down (from the second story to the doorstep). i think it stunned itsself because my dad picked it up and it didnt even try to run away.. it also didnt do very well when he tried putting it on a leaf. my dad basically had to force it on the leaf so it would get off his hand.
we planted flowers. we just happened to plant them on earth day.

after they were planted we got red and black mulch. the red is up at the top of the front of the house, with the hibiscus' and these colorful flowers.
and the black is around the rock, and at the front of the house near the street with the hummingbird bushes, and something purple...)
these are milkweeds for monarch butterflies. hopefully they can find them... so far the only thing that has found them are gnats!
and yesterday we had topsoil dirt delivered, (that we had to shovel) into the yard, because we have/had a massive dip in our yard that my dad wanted to fix up so that it was flat and even.
i was helping earlier, but went in to rest when my parents came home. so this is them with my sister evening out a spot and putting grass down.
hopefully all the plants take and the grass doesnt die. but we'll have to wait maybe a couple more weeks to find out what has died and what hasnt.

I was mad and cussing and gettin all pissed off, cuz I chipped my phone. Just days before i was making fun of people who don't go and fix their phones when the break, and i was talking to Dom about new cases moments before.
After complaining for about 10 minutes, Dom said "you must have a bad screen protector"
"screen protector!!" I thought. "I totally forgot about it!" I said. I pulled back the corner of my screen protector, and BAM! The screen wasn't chipped at all.

classes for Sp12
This semester... ahhh. Im taking 5 classes, three english classes, one psychology class, and the last semester of a foreign language i'll ever need ending with spanish 2.
Intro to lingustics. So far it sounds more complaicated then it actually is... so far! We just turned in our first paper, and hopefully will be getting them back this coming wednesday (feb 29th). when she was going over the paper guidelines it sounded like i did it right. lets hope the grade reflects it.SkittleHair is in this class with me. We took classes around the same schedule so she could take me to school and back to my house M/W. it works out by alernating who buys lunch and I've paid her in advance for all the gas I would use from her. :)
19 century and colonial lit. this is the first hybrid class ive taken since my first year at vista. We meet on wednesday. The blackboard component is easy to forget, fortunately SkittleHair is in the class with me and she remembers to do it each week. So we end up posting and responding on Monday durning our long break. we turned in our first essay for this class last wednesday (feb 15th) and got it back this past wednesday (feb 22nd). after i turned in my essay on the 15th she was talking about how it should have been done and the things that she was looking for, and i thought i did it completely wrong. but i totally got an 86 on it! Go Me!
Introduction to Psychology. this class is Awesome! so far i'm lovin it. we had out first test two weeks ago and i got a 70/100 because i didnt put the right psychologist to the things that they did.. oops. But i got the bonus right. its only worth 20%, but i can drop the lowest test grade at the end of the semester. so all i need to do it get 90-100's on the rest of the tests, and i'll get an A. our next test is on monday (feb 27th) i'm excitied.
Now to my online coruses:
British lit. Sucks. i use to like brit lit, mostly because i didnt have a choice going thru high school, but i really really really dislike this teacher. but im not going to drop the class im going to stick it out and hope for the best. bleh. SkittleHair was in this class with me but she dropped it cuz she dislikes the teach so much. Her and I will never take this teacher again for anything ever.
Spainsh 2. im doing well in the class, but im asking bugsbunny for a LOT of help on how to structure sentences. all i hope for is to get a B. i'll settle for a C, but i just want it to be over. hahaha.

how the years go by
My first year using this blog, i use up a small amount of the internet to post and repost reallllllly pointless things.
some of things really helped me get thru a lotta shit. then for some reason i just stop posting out of the blue, and just visit from time to time.
I have three friends that also started blogging around the same time or shortly after, and same thing with them. they all had lots to say, and now only visit from time to time. keeping up with blogging is a really hard thing to do.
you have to really motivate yourself to believe that what you say is either going to help you or help someone else out (or i guess you could just believe that everything you say is most important and clutter the internet with less then desirable information).
WhiteMM is still dating TheAsian, and is mostly unhappy with him, but wont leave. :(
Ambino has found someone she is currently happy with. i'm glad she found someone that she is willing to trust again after shit hit the fan with her. :)
Badmac55 is still longing for his ex, who wasnt the best person, to him or herself. but he claims to still love her, so i hope everything works out for him eventually.
