so many plans

Between now and walking the college stage and after graduation into the summer there are so many things that are on a list of at least 10 things that I'm attending and probably 5-10 that I'm forgetting or that haven't been planed yet.
Oh memory, why do you fail me so?

On another note about 3 weeks ago there was the start of a new tradition at Texas A&M San Antonio started a new ring ceremony. They invited me to go, and I thought 'Sure why not?' I told my parents and family about it and they said that should be able to get there after work.
I took my sister and brother with me up to the school waited for my mom and dad to arrive.
My mom arrived shortly before the ceremony was to start and we waited for my dad as two very mono-toned speakers spoke about how much the school had done for them, future events that will be held at the school, and how they plan to have a new annual ring ceremony starting with that day.
During these two speakers my mom and myself were looking for my dad as he hadn't shown up yet. The third speaker announced that everyone who already had a ring could stand up and make a line with a family member that will present your ring to you over the seal of the college. As I got up to stand in line, I was still looking for my dad and asked my mom to come with me to present my ring, cuz I didn't want to be up there alone, and my sister to take the pictures. Talk about cutting it close! Just before it was my turn I saw my dad and my mom was ushering him over to where he needed to be to present me with my ring, and she took some pictures.
I'm glad that he showed up just in time to present my ring. I would have been just as happy if my mom presented me with my ring since she has been just as supportive in my college career. Either way it worked out and it went smoothly. :)

Next step in my college adventure take some math classes, and start paying for my loans.

Also on another note, there is a a jewelry store that I walked into today to see if they would re-shape my rings for free since I didn't buy anything from them, and they rings I asked them to re-shape were also not purchased from them. Well they re-shaped the rings and the rings are awesome now, I really like them! They even polished the rings for me.

Thats all for now.

Tax season

Between January and April I work in a tax office. During the season I see a lot of people in a LOT of different situations. This year was no different, many of the same situations occurred, and some new ones. I don't do anyone's taxes in the tax office, I'm the receptionist. Each year the tax pros tell me to take the classes and become a tax pro, which isn't something I'm interested in doing right now. I like my job and I like my co-workers, for the most part. This year was a little different. There was actually a co-worker that I and I think 8 other people didn't like, fortunately about half way through the season she moved offices and my office didn't have to put up with her nonsense anymore.
I'm sad that the season is over for a number of reasons: I'll miss my co-workers, I'll miss my friends and most of all I'll miss my money!

But there is always next season which I hope to get hired back for, cuz I have college loans that I need to start paying back starting in the summer.
Good thing I saved 90% of my paychecks, hopefully it'll last me til the next season starts up since I don't really want to have to get another job right away or anytime soon if I don't have to.
